When you have a school hall with a stage you are going to need school stage curtains, which are similar to other stage curtains, but may be somewhat smaller than those of a commercial theatre. Nonetheless, you still need school drapes that are designed and crafted to the same level as if you were a theatre.
This means that you need a curtain manufacturer who can produce school curtains to the same high standards that are required in theatres, but just on a smaller scale. You need curtains that are made of flame-retardant materials, but you probably don't need nearly as many legs as a theatre, and you probably also don't require a flybar, and may not need a fire curtain.
What you most certainly will need is a front curtain that is flame-retardant and can open and close seamlessly, which means that you need a company that not only can manufacture the curtains that you need but will also install them with all the appropriate equipment.
School curtains can obviously be manually operated or electrically operated, and if you have the budget, electrically operated is obviously the choice, only requiring someone to push a button. This can save a lot of worrying about having people to open and close curtains manually, particularly if you are short-staffed.
As for school stage curtains prices, which of course are on top of everybody's mind, they will depend very much on the length of the curtains and the width of the stage, together with whether you want them electrically operated and whether you want the supplier to install them as well.
